This model was designed to put the Mewlon-180 telescope OTA on Takahashi equatorial mounts. By extension, it can receive light optical tubes from refractors or reflectors of other brands equipped with a male dovetail in Vixen format.

The female saddle is in Vixen format. It is tightened with a central screw with a rounded end to avoid marking the male dovetail bar. It is fixed on Takahashi mounts by two M8 screws.
