This bubble level is attached to the end of the polar finder of the mount. It enables the hourly engraving of the finder to be placed vertically and thus to make it coincide perfectly with the meridian of the place. Combined with the fine mechanical adjustments in azimuth and altitude of the mount and the legendary precision of the reticle of the Takahashi polar finder, your setting up will become a formality.
